SwingFest 2026 - The Bedford
SwingFest is held at iconic music venue The Bedford in Balham - a stunning period venue (est. 1931) recently restored to it's former glory.
The Ballroom

The Ballroom (home to Swingland's C Jam for some 20+ years) is stunning - and has what is probably London's finest dance floor for swing dancing!
The Club Room
Sunday evening & workshops

The Club Room is a unique space in the style of Shakespeare's Globe theatre - with a large dance floor and stage on the ground floor. All the tables and chairs will be cleared for dancing, so if you'd like seating please reerve space on the Mezzanine.

The Private Dining Room
Relaxed space with tables and seating in the afternoon
Set just off the ballroom, the Private Dining Room (previously known as the "Map Room") is the ideal space for our smaller workshops and for relaxing a little during the afternoon.
The Bedford is at 77 Bedford Hill, Balham, London SW12 9HD.
By tube - Northern Line to Balham, 2 minutes walk. Turn right out of the station and walk up Balham Station Road. The Bedford is easily visible ahead of you.
By train - Balham (10 minutes to Waterloo or Victoria via Clapham Junction), 2 minutes walk as for tube.
By bus - bus routes 315 (Bedford Hill), 355, 249 or 155.
By car - just off the South Circular (A205), Balham is easily accessible by car from all directions.
There is plenty of free parking in local streets on Sundays - or use the Sainsbury's car park opposite. Please check local signage for rates/times if applicable.
